There's an addon for Firefox that converts letters in x-convention to the actual Esperanto letters. Does someone know the name of it? It puts a little icon in the botton-right corner of Firefox, a green circle with a circumflex (^) inside of it. It does the same thing as the "Un-X the text" button on the posting interface here. Thanks. ridulo.gif

I'd imagine that it would be fairly easy to write a bookmarklet to do this, which would work on all (modern) browsers. If anyone's interested in such a thing, let me know because I could probably do it pretty quickly but don't need it myself.

anyone using a Mac, just use the US Extended character palate (opt+6 then the character you want accented; this also works for vowels (for french and portuguese) and even w and y for Welsh!)

And then option+b followed by "u" for ŭ. By pressing "u" then pressing option+shift+b you can put the accent on after you've typed the vowel too.
