Oŝo-Jabe:Is Esperanto stress-timed or syllable-timed?While I'd personally say that neither are overwhelmingly important, I'd go with "in between" (which is a comprimise of sorts - it's good to have all syllables clear, but you want the stressed syllable clearer)
