This will probably come off as pathetic, but i just broke up with my girlfriend of 9 months and i am pretty devastated, so i am going to channel my time and effort into making my Esperanto better,

so you guys will probably see me alot around the forum, so sorry if you dont like me lango.gif

I'm really sorry to hear about your break-up. It's great that you're channeling your energy into positive things. I wish you all the best with improving your Esperanto and with getting back on track emotionally.

Actually I admire your determination to channel the energy of your pain into something positive rather than wallow in self pity and emotional lameness (pretty much my response to these types of things). Good on you buddy. sal.gif

Esperanto is a great place to channel your energy. I personally used it to quit smoking. Every time my body yelled "CIGARETTE" to me, I would replay, "Mi ne komprenas!". Good luck to you mi amiko.

Hey at least it's not as bad as my "mi miko" (mi of course being intentionally misspelt, and "miko" being praesperanto for "friend" - I don't recommend ever saying this unless with friends) rido.gif

Actually, I find it a great show of self-respect, strength, and maturity to channel your negative feelings into something that helps you develop as a person. Bravo!

Also, when I was younger, I was famous for having an extensive track record on the love side of things, so if ever you need to vent/share/ask, don't hesitate. okulumo.gif

It's cool that you speak Armenian, by the way: my wifey's one. Very strange and rich language, wouldn't you say? It kind of creeps me out to think that Armenian was an ancient language when Latin was at its first steps, and now kids in Yerevan rap in it. shoko.gif
