This will probably come off as pathetic, but i just broke up with my girlfriend of 9 months and i am pretty devastated, so i am going to channel my time and effort into making my Esperanto better,

Esperanto is a great place to channel your energy. I personally used it to quit smoking. Every time my body yelled "CIGARETTE" to me, I would replay, "Mi ne komprenas!". Good luck to you mi amiko.

Not that I'm any expert either, but that should be mia amiko. rideto.gif Mind, if I borrow your quit smokin' technique--my body is really, really screamin' at me for one, just one more smoke right now.
Hey at least it's not as bad as my "mi miko" (mi of course being intentionally misspelt, and "miko" being praesperanto for "friend" - I don't recommend ever saying this unless with friends) rido.gif

Actually, I find it a great show of self-respect, strength, and maturity to channel your negative feelings into something that helps you develop as a person. Bravo!

Also, when I was younger, I was famous for having an extensive track record on the love side of things, so if ever you need to vent/share/ask, don't hesitate. okulumo.gif

It's cool that you speak Armenian, by the way: my wifey's one. Very strange and rich language, wouldn't you say? It kind of creeps me out to think that Armenian was an ancient language when Latin was at its first steps, and now kids in Yerevan rap in it. shoko.gif
