I'm periodically online after work and would like to converse Esperante via Skype sometimes.

I'm a beginner with limited vocabulary but spending about 4-5 hours per week on exercises and practice. I'll be online in the evenings (later at times) EST.

I haven't used Skype for a while but I recall that it is very easy to find other Esperanto speakers with Skype accounts.

The trick is, when searching, to put in the country (and a town, or a sex, if you want to narrow the search) and enter 'Ésperanto' for the language, but leave other search fields blank.

You can then send them messages even if they are not on-line at the time.

There is also a group Takinejo or something like that and I remember joining this and being flooded with requests for on-to-one conversationss.

For me I would just add people (the button is near the top) with the current person I'm chatting with and when we have our mics ready hit the call group button. Cams do not work for groups though...at least it's all free anyway (I believe only direct calls to phones cost money).

BTW adding those who are on lernu often and post to this topic to my skype. Can't wait to chat with y'all!
