Esperanto acronym list?

Is anyone aware of a list of commonly used chat acronyms translated from English into Esperanto? For example:

FYI (for your information) = PVI (por via informaĵo)

I've never seen them used in practice (except for the somewhat related ktp=etc), but I could use them for some translation of informal documents. Otherwise I suppose I could just translate the full meaning instead of using an Esperanto acronym.

Dankon!
Mikelo

People often use compound words for these types of things. For example, I don't know of a specific commonly-used acronym for "FYI", but I see "porinforme" fairly commonly and the meaning is similar. There is a list here that may be what you're looking for: http://eo.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mallongigoj_uzataj_en...

...but you should be aware that these may not be widely understood. I guess I don't spend enough (any!) time in Esperanto chat rooms anymore, but I don't know any of these. They certainly weren't in use 8 years ago when I spent significant time in Esperanto chats, but perhaps someone more recently involved can tell you whether they are commonly used today.

Also, there is a list of more abbreviations here; these are ones found in print media, but are not specifically chat-related: http://www.kafejo.com/lingvoj/auxlangs/eo/mallongi...

These are the Esperanto versions of things like i.e., e.g., stuff like that. These are widely understood, at least among people who are reasonably well-read.

I can't think of anything else off-hand but if you tell me what kinds of English abbreviations you're looking for good translations of, perhaps something will spring to mind. And if no one can think of a commonly used translation of those terms, I'm sure the forum can collectively come up with something good!
