Esperanto Groups Outside the Internet?

I wold like to know if there are any Esperanto groups I could join outside of the cyber community. I live in New York City so I figured that if there any anywhere, they should be near me.
My Esperanto is very basic and I feel that I would learn faster if I practiced with people in person.

New York City has an Esperanto club and I believe they offer regular classes, or at least they used to. Check out www.esperanto-nyc.org
