qwertz:Yes. But - what's the matter - in detail???
Hum, i would have wrote in humoristic section.okulumo.gif

In detail as i wrote before : when someone unfairly criticize your message by a not very nice post and you have almost to justify yourself, so i say : "enjoy the last moments of freedom to write what and where we want".

Genjix, are you ok? You seem rather upset. Everyone's free to use the English or Esperanto forums as they please. If you feel so strongly about only using Esperanto, then maybe you should contribute to the Esperanto forums here on Lernu, rather than butting in here with stupid comments.

Odoras ke iu baldaŭ blokiĝos.

Smells like someone is gonna be banned.

Yes, well I'm taking my time to learn Esperanto and it's kind of rude/annoying that a third of all threads here are in the English forum.

Not for beginners (as you claim), but for silly chit chat and fluffing (by Esperantistoj) which can be done in Esperanto.

Go to the Esperanto forums, and it's just questions about the language. Here people discuss things... But in English.

If moderators are here, then maybe they should enforce a ban on threads which aren't beginners asking questions about Esperanto in English. All the other stuff reduces value from the Esperanto forums and moves discussion here.

Genjix, like you probably should noticed, pop-up translation help like excisting at the e-o forum section doesn't work for the english forum section (en to e-o). So, that should be enough motivation for people who have enough time to write in e-o word by word. If the English section has no "value" for you, that's fine - for you. Simply, walk around. But what do you think will people respond if they gets attackted by you calling them doing "silly chit chat"? So please, grant some more tolerance.

Thanks a lot.

Btw. what means "fluffing"? http://dict.leo.org shows me "letting hairs/lints on the floor" = "haaren"? Ehm, what?

Well, as indicated in the top of the headpage : lernu! is a multilingual website, we are free to write in a lot of languages (and of course in esperanto).

I think, we have so much threads now, in esperanto, that it could take a very long time to read all. Beginners should not be bored. They even have the possibility to write their own thread without waiting for any qualifying practice of esperanto. And of course, you're still the beginner to someone else.

Silly chat ? I always read some, and write some too ! okulumo.gif But, i try to respect the rules and people, by tolerance and politeness.

The reason for there being so many English threads, rather then that of Esperanto is mostly likely a simple one. There are a lot of English people learning Esperanto, and or most experienced Esperantists move on from lernu to bigger greater sites. I myself am capable of reading the Esperanto forums, however I'm still not fully comfortable with my own abilities yet to post large threads.

You don't ban people for having different opinions to you. Maybe in China it's normal, but not here.
