Mi ŝatas via tradukto [I like your translation]:

Sed [but] "forkuri = huir, alejarse corriendo = escape, run away" ne estas same kiel "goes quickly = iras rapide = va rapido ."
Ankaŭ mi ŝatas [also I like] "fuĝi = huir = escape":
La Tempo fuĝas, La Eterneco atendas.
'La' ĉar 'tempo' estas uzata de maniero abstrakta, same kiel en la lingvo Hispana 'el tiempo.' [ 'La' because 'time' is used in an abstract manner, same as in Spanish 'el tiempo'*
