ceigered:I would hate her except I love her..
This could be interpreted "I could hate her, except that I love her" and so translated Mi povus malami ŝin krom tio, ke mi amas ŝin. On the other hand Mi malamus ŝin, se mi ne amus ŝin would be "I would hate her if I didn't love her".

Welcome to the internet, mum okulumo.gif
Welcome to the internet forum where Erinja (a Lernu team member) is an official moderator, and who is well within her rights to offer advice on how to behave here.
Also, it's in the lernu terms of service to keep language clean in the forums, tujmesaĝilo, etc. Since it's in the terms of service, you really should keep your language clean no matter who is asking you to do it. These forums are self-policing to a great degree, because our regular readers are all aware of the forum rules, and they normally politely let users know if those users are not following the rules.

FYI I use profanities abundantly in my daily life. But this forum isn't the place to do it.
