Indeed you can ridulo.gif

It requires of course that ki-n etc are in the object position, so:

Kian kuniklon vi amas?
Mi amas ĉian kuniklon.

(What sort of rabbit do you like? I like every sort of rabbit)

Kion vi diris al mi?
Mi diris al vi ke la simio kiun vi ŝatas efektive ne estas vere simio sed rinocero.

(What did you say to me? I said to you that the monkey which you like actually isn't really a monkey but a rhinoceros)

Etc.

Kiu will change to kiu in phrases like the one about the monkey being a rhinoceros when kiu is the object of that little phrase that comes after it (relative clause).
So:
La simio kiun vi ŝatas estas grandega kaj havas kornon!
(The monkey which/whom/that you like is humungous and has a horn!)
but!
La simio kiu ŝatas vin estas eta kaj havas marsupion
(The monkey which/who/that likes you is tiny and has a pouch/marsupium)
