I wonder if Esperantists naturally gravitate to the Xbox due to its green theme?

Oijos:This is yet another evidence about Esperanto's death. It's very difficult to find Esperanto-speakers in Xbox Live, PSN, Nintendo network, Steam, Origin or whatever. This is an old thread, but...
There is an Esperanto group on Steam that has 90 members, and I have plenty of Esperantist friends who use Steam.
Want to play some L4D? We're looking for a group.

Moosader:What's L4D? Left for dead? 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8...? I've never played it nor am interested. I've never used Steam, my computer is old and does not play modern games. I have a few consoles, though.Oijos:This is yet another evidence about Esperanto's death. If one wants to learn more Esperanto while playing at the same time, then there's the problem how to find proficient users among those. I know that imitating you for example would output incorrect grammar patterns.
I (or somebody) should create thread in Esperanto for people's nicknames on different platforms who want to use Esperanto there. I haven't found thread like that on the World Wide Web. Like that Skype-thread.
There's been talk about some obscure browser or PC games, which have some Esperanto-related activity. I personally do not play free games, because they're so expensive. I prefer AAA games.
This just shows that overwhelming majority of Esperanto-speakers have died or are close to.

Oijos:Isn't the keyword here, "to learn"? It sounds like you're asking to play video games with expert-level Esperantists, so for your own learning benefit.

We're all learning together, we correct each other, and we continue learning. I'm going through PMEG now that I can actually read it, but I think if you're looking for flawless Esperanto, something like impromtu gameplaying is not what you're looking for. Perhaps something more heavily scripted.

Moosader:That's an objective that is very difficult to achieve. Of course for my own learning benefit. That's very easy to achieve learning English for example. So in reality Esperanto is one of the hardest living human languages on Earth to learn!Oijos:Isn't the keyword here, "to learn"?
