What about some virtual lessons?

Hello,

Since I'm a newly "appointed" language tutor and since some people complained in the French speaking forum that there are no virtual lessons on lernu, I ask if there are really people interested in some virtual lessons in English and/or French. I could maybe make at leat one every week (or one of each language for example).
So if you are interested, please feel free to show up!

The lernu team gets a user question about virtual lessons about once every two months. If you're willing to do the lessons, that would be great! At any rate, please let us know the frequency, dates, and times. We can advertise the lessons on the lernu front page to make sure everyone knows!

Well, I was planning to ask the interested persons when they would preferably want the lessons to occur.

When do you think it would be well? You have to know that I work in the mornings of monday, tuesday, wednesday and thursday (Paris hour) and therefore can't be available then, but in the afternoon and the evenings, it is ok. i could maybe start in the beginning of January, as a new year "good resolution"
(do you also make "new year good resolutions" in the English-speaking world?)

We just call them New Year Resolutions, Warcana, the assumption being that nobody would resolve to be more evil, or indulge in more vice.

I think that I might be interested in participating in a virtual lesson for French. I certainly need some practice.

I'm in the unusual situation of watching French TV frequently for entertainment (The Boulogne transmitter is only a 40 mile hop over the Channel) but have hardly ever spoken French to a Frenchman (or woman).

Hello!

Thanks for the information. In French we don't assume that nobody will resolve to be more evil, and therefore we call them "bonnes résulutions" in order to be sure that everybody gets what it's all about okulumo.gif

About virtual lessons, I infer that they are here dedicated to the learning/teaching of esperanto (therefore French or English would be the "source language" and esperanto the "tarjet language").
There is a website dedicated to learning languages en general, which, shame on me, I've not visited for long mostly due to lack of time:Palabea

There is a possibility for virtual lessons there which we can maybe use.
