Just a reminder to make sure everyone knows that registration is now open for SES 2011 (Summer Esperanto Study). It's a course held for a week in late July/early August in the historic city of Nitra, Slovakia.

I have just completed the English translation of the registration forms and information materials.

I also want to make sure everyone knows that this is not just an Esperanto course for learning the language. There is a parallel seminar run at the same time for people who speak Esperanto well and are interested in learning how to teach Esperanto. There should be lots of practice over the course of the week, since there will be both learners and aspiring teachers in the same place. It's lots of fun and not very expensive (once you've gotten yourself to Slovakia), so I encourage everyone to consider attending.

too bad it's not the third week of June. There's a better than usual chance that I'll be attending the Finnish Esperanto Assoc's language course at New Valamo; Coming back to Europe again is more than I can afford.

There's always next year, orthohawk! I encourage you to look at the Esperanto calendars to see if some other Esperanto event might be going on in Europe around the time you'll be there. A week-long Esperanto event is almost as good as a course, if you get yourself out there and speaking with lots of people.
