Im having a bad time trying to traduce "sleepover" to esperanto and checking dictionaries is not helping. Each dictionary brings a different definition and I'm not sure if they are correct in the context.
The context is "Girls are doing makeover at sleepover"
How you traduce it?

Sleepover has at least three different names in English (sleepover, slumber party, and pajama party), so it's not surprising that you might have found multiple Esperanto translations.

As background, when translating these sorts of colloquial words, I often go to Wikipedia and find the article, and then I see what the thing is called in all of the different languages. If they all agree on a certain term, then I often consider this term to be international and I consider it appropriate for Esperanto. In this, case the French, German, and Portuguese versions of wikipedia all had it called a "pajama party" (though translated into their own languages). So I think "piĵamofesto" would be the Esperanto term that would be easiest to understand.

Maybe someone can come up with something better, though. The German Wikipedia implied that a pajama party is where you show up wearing pajamas but don't necessarily stay the night. The French, Portuguese, and English versions imply spending the night.

A makeover - I would say "ŝminkumado" (=playing around with makeup). A television makeover usually involves giving a haircut and helping someone choose better clothes and makeup. But at a sleepover, there would be no clothes or haircut, it would be makeup only. So I think it's appropriate to refer to ŝminko (makeup) but not the other aspects.
