I recently started using Second Life. If anyone else here is a user there and is interested in meeting up with me there, let me know. My SL username is Erinja Matova.

I'm in SL too ^^ name is Maverynthia Dannunzio.
There's also an Esperanto place in there the Verda Stelo. Don't know of any more places.

Haven't been using Second Life for a good while now (I needed to clear up some space on my PC) but try contacting Gxeremio Dimsum. When I was there last he had an Esperanto park and shop in a little German-style village.

I had heard about the Esperanto community there. I just thought that it would be fun to meet up with other lernu-users who are also users, if they were interested.

Interestingly enough, this evening I was in a Second Life Italian setting this evening, speaking Esperanto with an Italian. A couple of Italians came by, speaking Italian. One of them said to the other, "It's just like real-life, full of foreign tourists!"

It was funny, because one of the so-called "foreign tourists" was just as Italian as they were. Didn't say anything to them about it but I had a nice little chuckle over it anyway.

white knight:Hi, friends,

I beg your pardon, but would you please explain
to a stranger what this "Second Life" is, you
are speaking about?
I tried it today. It's a 3D Virtual world where you can chat and do other things I'm not too sure about yet ridulo.gif
Sign uo and down load the client

Yah, Second Life is such amazing.
But unfrotunately, I didn't find any Esperantists there. It's so hard!

Anyway, my name there is Fraulo Beerbaum. Wish I could find Esperantists to talk there lango.gif.

Is Second Life basically a MMORPG without the game? A place where your 3D avatar can live, work, chat, and go dancing? Rather like an elaborate Sims game sans goals? *comes at this from a gamer's perspective, can you tell?* lol
