Hey everyone, I created an Esperanto website that reviews computer games for my project at college, the main point of the site is to give opinions on games that are underlooked, or just anything really.
i am writing a report as we speak

the language is supposed to be quiet simple so that people who are beginning to learn esperanto can still understand more or less what is being said.

what i need is for some of you to have a little look and tell me if you find it easy to read and informative ridulo.gif

i am aware there will be mistakes too but you don't have to worry too much about that.

I salute you Reteos for your translation of "Devil May Cry" which finally has made it click on what on earth "Devil May Cry" might mean lango.gif.

About the sentence "'Diablo Plorus' estas bona ludo, ĝi spilas simile al la originala Onimushao, se la fokuso estas pli ĉe Farado Komboj kaj ĵonglado demonoj en la aero.":

- Spili is probably better a "estas ludata" or maybe better "ludiĝas". I've never heard of spili but EO dictionary here says it means "to bottle"

- Originala = to do with the original form of something, the real mccoy, etc. Origina = to do with the origins of something, the point of origin, where somethings roots come from. The latter might be better?

- "ĵonglado demonoj" should be "ĵonglado de demonoj".

That picture on Yakuza (the first one) is a bit funny to me for some reason lango.gif "TAKE THIS! THAT'LL TEACH YOU TO WEAR KNITTED SWEATERS! NOW GO GET SOME HAIR GREASE AND A SUIT AND DRESS LIKE A REAL MAN!"

Thanks for the input Ceigered, sorry i havent been able to reply i have been busy, i am currently writing up the report on the website right now. Thanks very much for replying. I realise that the site is in no way amazing, but I am proud of my little creation and i hope that i will get a good grade on my project!

I'd check the accusatives before you hand it in, e.g. Dante havos novan batalilon.

There are a lot of grammatical errors on the site.
...however, presumably those grading the project will have no idea about that, so it will seem perfect to them rideto.gif

While grammatical errors would hopefully be smoothed out as more work goes into it, I wouldn't worry too much since the most important thing for beginners is probably going to be vocab - grammar only consists of a small collection of rules, vocab however goes on forever okulumo.gif

I wouldn't say it's "not amazing", since that gives it a negative spin - It's a nice little site, and if it were a house it seems like it'd be a nice place to live okulumo.gif Written content I think would be a bit more important (not to say that you should write gigantic essays - lots of little things can be very useful *and* enjoyable to read).
