[Linux?] Kurso de Esperanto

Hi, I've just started learning Esperanto with the Kurso de Esperanto software for Linux.
In Settings > Sound/Internet, I have to suggest some programs for...
MP3 player,
WAV recorder,
WAV player.

I suggested Rhythmbox as the MP3 player, but it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone in the forum have a working Linux install for Kurso de Esperanto? If so, what programs did you choose for MP3 player, WAV recorder and WAV player.

Hi, I'm using Linux Mint9 (Ubuntu based). I don't get any errors -- instead Rhythmbox launches in the task bar and the app gets stuck on the welcome screen. If I quit Rhythmbox the program then opens. If I try to play any audio, Rhythmbox once again launches in the task bar and the program 'sticks' until I quit Rhythmbox.

install mplayer

(sudo apt-get install mplayer)

and then enter mplayer for all of those fields (if you have to select it then choose /usr/bin/mplayer)

Hi, I have another question regarding the software. I've set up gmail on the Thunderbird email client and specified the command in the settings tab (along with my tutor's email address in the appropriate field).
I've completed the first exercise and clicked the email button and got the message -- Later the exercise will be sent to your tutor. On the message body click Ctrl + V to paste the text.

I clicked OK and nothing happened. I didn't have any text in my clipboard either. I've checked the sent folder of gmail, but nothing has been sent from it.

Is there something obvious I have missed?
