I recently worked as the Lead Animator on a new game by the name of Munchies' Lunch. It's a fairly straightforward puzzle game for the PC, and you can read all about it here:
http://www.munchies-lunch.com/
I've pitched the idea of creating an EO translation of the game to the Producer. He likes the idea and says that if I can provide him with translations, he'll take care of the work necessary to create the EO build and make it available.
In my experience, the number of games available in Esperanto is really limited. Even among those, the majority are centered around language-teaching (which, don't get me wrong, is great). It's my hope that an EO version of Munchies' Lunch would aid in the effort to make Esperanto more current and demonstrate that it can be used as a tool to make something available 'worldwide' without dozens of separate translations.
I'm currently in the process of collecting a document with all of the in-game text. My plan is to translate all that I can on my own and post the result here (in English and Esperanto) for the community to critique. I'm fairly sure I'd be allowed to add the names of anyone particularly helpful to the EO build's credits, so I hope we can come together to ensure the end result is a solid and reliable translation.
Thankfully, it doesn't look like there will be too much to translate, since the game was designed with a purely visual storyline. The most challenging part will probably be the unique level titles, since they often allude to how to solve each puzzle. I'm also planning to create an EO mirror of the company's website for distribution.
The brunt of things will probably begin in the next few weeks, so keep tabs on this thread if you're interested. If you have any feedback on this undertaking in the meantime, feel free to let me know here.

It's really a good educational game and the author seems enthusiastic about having it translated. Maybe a more 'seasoned' Esperantoist would be interested in submitting a translation?

Roberto12:All such plans are brilliant in my opinion, and unless other people wade in with translations first, I'll try to do some myself. So, are you going to do Sebran's ABC? If not, then I'll have a go. I could post a new thread about it and have results checked by the EO 'elders'. It's probably better to contact the author of the game first though -- to check if nobody is in the process of doing it.

Roberto12:I've just had a look at the microsoft database translation file and the format doesn't seem compatible with OpenOffice (characters appear garbled). So I'll pass on this. Have fun if you decide to do it in May

I've finished translating all of the in-game text for Munchie's Lunch but the level titles (which I haven't yet gotten ahold of in English to attempt).
Below is the English version of the in-game text and the corresponding translated version.
English Version

If anyone has a moment, please feel free to open and compare them. You can make all the modifications to the EO version that you like. I only ask that you make the changed text red, so I can easily find it. Alternatively, feel free to quote and point any flaws/suggestions out in the thread.
I have no doubt that I've made a number of errors here, given my lack of EO practice in recent months, but I'm hopeful that the community will help this game be a grammatically sound resource.

I've been trying to come up with a catchy translation for the game's title. The strange little blob family around which the game is centered is named the Munchie family, hence the name Munchies' Lunch. I've been trying to come up with a good family name that indicates that they like to eat and still has some kind of ring to it.
Current concepts are:
Lunĉo de Maĉopo (Not at all sure if I'm using the -op suffix in a reasonable way, but my intent was for it to translate to something akin to 'Chew-troop's Lunch', which sounds pretty silly, but I figured I'd give it a try)
Lunĉo por la Maĉglutoj (Lunch for the Chew-n-Swallows)
La Lunĉfamilio or Lunĉa Familio (where I suppose the Munchies would be called something like La Lunĉoj in-game)
Or a more direct Munchie-a Lunĉo, though since the director is more concerned with maintaining the same idea that Munchie gives than with maintaining their family name, it seems like a less ideal solution.
Any and all ideas for an elegant solution here are more than welcome, as I'm sure I'm missing out on some obvious fitting and concise word construction.

Also I think that the word 'lunĉo' is more a midday snack than lunch, most people would say 'meztagmanĝo' or 'tagmanĝo' for the midday meal. It's one of those 'false friends'!
My idea for your title is 'Tagmanĝo Maĉja'. The 'ĉj' is used to make boys name's cuter and more informal, like 'munchie'. And I made the name 'Maĉjo' into an adjective and put it at the back because the rhthym is better. You could say 'Tagmanĝo Maĉara' if you wanted the 'ar' part in there, too.
