Sometimes, when I am reading in Esperanto I come across neat renderings of English clichés and think I should make a note, but rarely do.
If there were such a dictionary (most useful to translators) this would allow me to continue on my indolent path.
A conventional English-Esperanto dictionary will sometimes give such translations, but not to the extent that you can frequently find a ready-made solution when one is trying to think of an Esperanto equivalent of a hackneyed English phrase.
Listings would be under key words. So a phrase like 'I dare say you're right' would be found under 'dare' and 'right'.
Rather than an ambitious attempt to translate all such phrases, the sort of dictionary I am thinking of would be a compilation of neat renderings actually found in the Esperanto literature.
