I was wondering if any of you guys know good apps for learning Esperanto over the iPhone.

At the moment, I've got 3 apps: Ĝusta Klavaro, Intense EO and Esperanto Word of the Day.

P.S. I'm looking for an Esperanto dictionary. The one in this site is tailored to Android devices. XD

it's not only for EO but anki has a quite good reputation as SRS software, and an iPhone/iPad/iPod version is available.
Say, do you happen to know where I can get premade decks? XD

I announced this URL based WebApp a few weeks ago. I wrote it for my own use when I was away from a desktop computer.

See this Thread

It's not a native app rather it's a browser based JavaScript app which is intended to bring some of the useful features of Lernu!, Radio Verda and Esperanta Retradio to handheld and mobile devices as a convenience. Works on some desktop browsers.

Mobile EO

The posting did not generate much interest but everyone is welcome to use it as they see fit.

Awesome guys.

@jean-luc
Just got a deck with pictures and I have to say it is mighty fine.

@will_gilbert
Your WebApp has great potential. I just wish it could be used offline too XD

BitKnights have a very good Eo-En/En-Eo dictionary for the iPhone or iPod. It has quite an extensive vocabulary. I use it often.

I have been using the free Anki on my laptop Windows PC for a couple of years now and have found it really helps in learning vocabulary and remembering it (there is a review mechanism that works amazingly well).

I am using a 5800+ word (two-way) deck based the Baza Radikaro that I converted from a previous flash card program I had been using. If anyone is interested I can somehow make this deck available.

Also excists dictionarymid for cell phones version of some lernu.net dictionaries (needs Java runtime). Most current cell phones should be capable to run dictionarymid.

Okay, I have just uploaded the deck to the Anki website for sharing. All you have to do is the following in order to download the deck:

1. Start your Anki desktop.

2. In the main page (called DECKS), click on the "Download" button at the bottom of the window. A list of decks you can download should appear with a selection box at the top.

3. In the Select box, type "baza radikaro" The deck should appear as the only thing in the list (its full title is "Baza Radikaro (Esperanto Roots)".

4. Select it and click OK.

Let me know if you have any problems with this.
