I found a book here on lernu called Ŝi Estas Mia Amiko, and I went to print it out on a windows xp computer, and when it came out it looked very odd... Part of the words look normal, but some of them are bold and are a bunch of letters and astriks.

Is there any way I can print Esperanto items without this happening?

Oh, and another strange thing is, some of the words with the supersigns printed out just fine, so I know it's not the supersigns causing the problem.

It sounds like an error from switching between two differently encoded programs. It's a PDF, so the problem may lie with your PDF viewer. What viewer do you use/ does it look okay in the viewer?

If it does, but still doesn't print properly, you may be able to export the PDF as a series of images and print those.

I actually figured it out... I know how to deal with printers when it comes to English, but I was thinking maybe the Esperanto was the problem.... Well, it wasn't. It was encrypted because the drivers were corrupt. So, all I had to do is re-install the drivers, and it printed just fine. Thanks though! ridulo.gif
