ppk89:
I'm trying to see if I can obtain at least a basic command of the language by the end of September.
Let's race! I will try to do the same. Keep in touch. okulumo.gif
You're on! >ridego.gif May the best one win lango.gif

How will you decide who has won the contest (between materum and ppk89)? Here is a objective test: the first of you to pass the basic language examination ("Lingvoekzameno, nivelo A (baza)") wins! Agreed?

Agreed. I'll post here when I have completed the test.

THE GAME IS ON!

Here are some suggestions for preparing for the examination. The following courses (or equivalent material) should be enough:

(a) Vojaĝu kun Zam
(b) Ana Pana
(c) Ana Renkontas

You may wish to do another beginners' course, such as Bildoj kaj demandoj before (a), or Mi estas komencanto between (a) and (b), and if you want to be thorough, you could add Jen nia IJK or even Gerda Malaperis! after (c).

May the more diligent student win. Bonan ŝancon!

I would skip Vojaĝu kun Zam myself, unless you try a couple of lessons and just love it. I recommend completing "Mi estas komencanto" (not for the exam, but for the practice with practical conversation) and "Jen nia IJK"

But Bildoj kaj Demandoj is a good one to at least try out. If you like it, then finish it; if you don't like it, then don't worry about it.
