This thread serves no purpose, except to vent my frustration! I made my third attempt at the basic exam today. I failed again. ploro.gif Lat time I got 46 out of 50. Today I got 47. And I still failed.
I'm not a happy bunny...

I take it this has something to do with answering too many questions wrong in a single section? Is there a specific section that you have been having a problem with? Anything we can help with?

That's the root of it, yes. Two questions wrong in one section. The frustrating thing is that on this occasion I failed because of a stupid typing error that I ought to have picked up before I submitted the paper.
Next week I'll try again...

Yep, that makes it all the more difficult doesn't it ? I failed the basic exam that way myself at first. But stick at it Richard - you'll do it next time.

I am sure you will be more careful the next time, so you should have every chance of success. Have a break, and then have another go.

Gosh, typos are aggravating, I just got wrong 2 sound file sentences lesson 6 in Ana Pana that I'd nailed otherwise due to them.

That means to me, 'take a break'. So I'm not going to finish my lesson tonight. I bet it's the same with you.

Just take a break, relax, and then when you're refreshed retake the exam. You know the material so you will pass.
