Why does the x-method seem to be preferred to the h-method, given that
1. the 'fundamentals' state that 'h', (not 'x') can be used to replace the circumflex
2. the h-method seems a more 'natural' replacement as regards actual pronunciation (at least to a native English speaker)?

Kial la x-sistemo ŝajnas esti pli preferata ol h-sistemo, se
1. la "fundamentoj" diras ke 'h' (ne 'x') estas uzebla por anstataŭigi ĉapelo
2. la h-sistemo ŝajnas pli 'natura' anstataŭo kiu kontemplas vera prononco (almenaŭ por denaska angloparolanto)

ekzemple, kiel komputilo estus traduki sekvantajn terminojn?
polichundo, kuracherbo, ĉashundo, flughaveno, vangharo
Ĝi renkontus malfacilaĵojn. Pro tio "lernu!" uzas x-sistemon, kiun ankaŭ estas aplikata en "lernu!"-Vortaro.
Avantaĝo: X ne estas Esperanta kaj komputilo kapablas unusignife identigi X kiel anstataŭaĵo de cirkumflekso.

Kompreneble! Mi forgesis - kompleksaj (? Angla="compound") vortoj bezonas havi la leteron 'h' flanke de alia letero. Mi sentas min stulta!
