ceigered, it's just an online petition anyway so I would just sign. No one's going to come knocking on your door asking for proof of citizenship
However, if you want to learn something about your citizenship status or learn how things work, please contact me privately. The UK has one of the most complicated citizenship laws on the planet (a legacy of colonialism) and I learned quite a bit about it while researching my own citizenship status.

OK I'll just sign the petition, considering the Queen of England is also the Queen of Australia.
EDIT: Well the petition's now closed anyway so there goes that idea.
