Clint_Thomas:Just purchased Attack of the Moon Zombies and House of Ghosts, both dubbed in esperanto. They are good films when compared to the Science Fiction/Horror of the 1950's. I hope Saint Euphoria Pictures continue releasing their independent films with Esperanto dubs.
Their next film, The Giant Spider, will also have an Esperanto dub. It's due out in May.

Making an animation would be a bit hard, even with 3D and mo-cap. What would be easier is to maybe make a live action movie, or even maybe a blip.tv series. (I had big plans of having a 3D character review bad anime and had thought about having an Esperanto dub of it...)
Now that Adobe has released their CS2 Creative Suite for free it's a bit easier to edit videos now. (I think Premiere is in it)

I'm trying my hand at 3D as it is and it's going sloowwwly. Even then I only have one voice and aren't that good at Esperanto yet. I was also thinking of subbing some anime in Esperanto, however I'm not good at Japanese yet either and I'd rather translate directly from that than go the JP > EN > EO route and lose a LOT of context.

The open source short filem, Sintel, includes optional Esperanto subtitles. They're a little buried on the projects site, but they can be located here. The file is called sintel_eo.srt.

Some other Blender Open Source movie projects may also include Esperanto subtitles as well.

I think the only way that the use of Esperanto is going to increase in Cinima is if the Esperanto movement produces it, perhaps distributed over the Internet.

The other option would be to provide Esperanto subtitles to Internet based video entertainment. Increased availablility tends to increase awareness and decrease the "when the hell am I ever going to use it [Esperanto]?" factor.

Also maybe expanding out into games and other media would help maybe get more moving pictures. I'd love to see a Visual Novel *couotomegh* game in Esperanto. There's Twine out for interactive text based (choose your own adventure) games. There's also even making an Esperanto vlog or heck just get a sock puppet and make some silly episodes of "SockPuppetLand" or something. Make more Esperanto music and such. When people come across something cool they tend to go "what is that" and then maybe do a little research on it. I mean I fist leart of Esperanto from the song "Memoro de la Ŝtono" the opening song to Final Fantasy XI. (They have since ditched Esperanto for English in their online title songs ;-; )

(I plan on making some media up when I get good enough D: Probably not a feature length movie, but may short TV like episodes of something.)

Sintel en Esperanto. I dug that up from a random search. It's not dubbed well as you can tell from the audio, but someone dubbed it. Has subtitles too.
