You can see how many votes are needed to get into the top 1000 (and prize money) in the ranking table (See the column on the right. Rang = position and Stimmen = votes)

Miland:OK, I've done it. After clicking the link a message appeared online saying something like "this will take 15 minutes". I immediately went back and did this twice more. Hopefully the second and third won't be nullified? That's fine. When you cast your votes, you immediately see the number of votes increase for the German Esperanto Association, but it takes up to 15 minutes for the ranking position to be updated.

Anyone else fancy casting their three votes? The GEA still has a good chance of getting into the prize money!

Esperantst:Until now it is incredible, that GEA have only 2100 votes?Yes, and despite this, the GEA is still not far off getting into the top 1000 and the prize money!
So, if more people start voting now, then it really does have a good chance.
Esperanst:Why the people don´t have 3 minutes?Probably just a case of people being tired of the number counts for Esperanto speakers etc.
If such scepticism about 'voting for Esperanto' is putting people off, then it's a shame as the GEA has a real chance of winning some money in this competition, which can only be a good thing for Esperantujo.
