Yeah, I think this is the largest webpage, but there's also IRC. You could use the ##esperanto channel on freenode.

google plus is getting pretty popular with esperantists. - taken into account how new it is. also the lernu and esperanto facebook have about 1500 likes each. Lernu.net gets
1,200 to 4,000 unique vistors a month

It might be my own prejudices about this site, but in my mind this website is for learners not experienced speakers. Also, I haven't really seen everyday conversations on here. This place just seems to talk more about global issues rather than everyday "common folk" issues. I was hoping for a place where I could talk about in Esperanto daily life: health, relationships, emotions, education, etc.

However, the lernu sites that Talisman is referring to are not official lernu sites - they are unofficial sites that Talisman created himself, under the lernu name, without permission from the lernu team.
