Hmm, just as a side note, if anyone's interested...Someone is translating the manga Alpha's Cafe into Esperanto...ĉi tie // here. It's my all time favorite manga, and it's one that I would recommend to people who don't normally enjoy manga. (The guy translating it said much the same thing to me; he is middle aged and said he knows people even in their 70's who enjoy reading this one, and they don't normally like anime or manga--heck I don't even like anime or manga too much). There are also two short episodes (OVAs) of it that you can watch online, I'm not sure what languages they're subbed in, but I assume English and Spanish.

As for anime films to watch I would recommend Grave of the Fireflies, since it's historical rather than about a magic world...Different things appeal to different people; I have a hard time getting into things like Spirited Away.

I might look into that series. And I admit I forgot grave of the fireflies existed. I haven't watched it yet (as I said I don't watch things too often, I like reading ridulo.gif ) I'm trying to make time for it but I've heard it's sad and I have to be in the mood for that. Either one will be good. I like fantasy so for me Spirited Away was really good.
