"Por" preposition

Why is "por" used here:

"Stranga logiko por mi."

but not here:

"Li edziĝis je ŝi"?

Actually, 'por' might be used if one were talking about say a marriage of convenience (to get someone a passport), or some other situation where the benefit accrues to 'ŝi'.

But the normal preposition is 'al', or 'je'. You could also edziĝi pro mono, or eksediziĝi pro adulto.

So could 'logiko' be used with 'je' if the only reason for stating the logical conditions was, say, as part of a mathematical solution to a proof in formal logic rather than a rationalisation of a particular action?

Ferrus, if you pop over to Vortaro.net and sign in with your Lernu password you will be able to see the various ways in which 'por' is used.

I would interpret Stranga logiko por mi as meaning from my point of view the logic is strange.

Unfortunately, your last post was ne-komprenebla por mi, so I have some difficulty in providing you with an answer.
