During this Demo class I made LOTS of mistakes. I know that. I am still learning Esperanto. Feel free to post a comment about those mistakes if you want.
But what I am really interested is on feedback about the demo. Do you think it was effective? Entertaining? Clear? I want to be an Esperanto teacher one day. This is just the beginning. I DO know that I need to improve my Esperanto a lot. But I do think I have pretty good teaching skills, though. What do you think?

Anyway, there were errors, indeed. That doesn't matter so much, though. It's a little victory if even one of those students keeps on learning Esperanto. You've probably noticed that most people who learn it aren't exactly silent about it.
I like your approach actually, I'm to be teaching some beginners in a month and I might accidentally steal some ideas from you.

pauxleto:There were just a couple of minor errors as you yourself pointed out. It didn't affect the teaching itself. But yes, now that you're into something good, working harder definitely pays back. brodicius:Little secret here: you don't actually need to be a foremost expert on something to teach it well. One of the best biology teachers I had was someone who knew nearly nothing about biology, they were just really enthusiastic about the whole affair. Both things are needed: enthusiasm and knowledge. What if students ask something that is just a bit more advanced than the course syllabus? I don't think knowing nearly nothing is enough to be a teacher...

(BTW, I have not watched the video yet, i'll do when i get home)
