In general, this is a big problem in the US, since there are probably no more than 2000 speakers at a level anywhere above eterna komencanto in the entire country (obviously 2000 is a very generous estimate!)
Unfortunately, there are clumps only in the major cities (NY, Chicago, SF) and the rest of us are on Gilligan's Island as far as Esperanto goes.
