Ĉu vi emas manĝante vegetara manĝaĵo hodiaŭ?
Do you feel like eating vegetarian food today?
Ĉu vi sentas deziro manĝi vegetara manĝaĵo hodiaŭ?
Do you feel a desire to eat vegetarian food today?
Ĉu vi sentas por vegetara manĝaĵo hodiaŭ?
Do you feel like vegetarian food today?
I guess I'm trying to make the last example to make as much sense as possible without the need for the descriptive detail in the first two examples.
How am I doing?

Do you feel like eating vegetarian food today?
Ĉu vi sentas deziron manĝi vegetaran manĝaĵon hodiaŭ?
Do you feel a desire to eat vegetarian food today?
It seems like you tried to translate "eating" too literally. -ante verbs show something you're doing while you do the action shown by the main verb ("sidante en seĝo mi rigardis el la fenestro", for example), so that's not what you want here.
The third phrase is a bit odd and I wouldn't use it. Either of first two with the above corrections seems ok though.

Leke:Hola!Hi!
Leke:Ĉu vi emas manĝante vegetara manĝaĵo hodiaŭ?Hm... no, I don't think that would work. If we change it to "Ĉu vi emas manĝi vegetaran manĝaĵon hodiaŭ?" it might work but I am not sure.
Do you feel like eating vegetarian food today?
Leke:Ĉu vi sentas deziro manĝi vegetara manĝaĵo hodiaŭ?I would correct it to "ĉu vi sentas deziron de manĝi vegetaran manĝaĵon hodiaŭ?". This way it seems to work.
Do you feel a desire to eat vegetarian food today?
Leke:Ĉu vi sentas por vegetara manĝaĵo hodiaŭ?This doesn't sound right.
Do you feel like vegetarian food today?
Leke:How am I doing?You're doing good ^^

scorpjke:I would correct it to "ĉu vi sentas deziron de manĝi vegetaran manĝaĵon hodiaŭ?". This way it seems to work.Get rid of "de" and you're ok.

tommjames:Thanks folks, that makes perfect sense...and I should have picked up on the accusative mistakes in the second example --my bad.

scorpjke:I would argue the opposite. The "de" is actually quite confusing. For tonnes of examples go to tekstaro.com and search:tommjames:No, thank youscorpjke:I would correct it to "ĉu vi sentas deziron de manĝi vegetaran manĝaĵon hodiaŭ?". This way it seems to work.Get rid of "de" and you're ok.I don't know what the rules say about this, but logically "de" is required here
- " deziron \w+i " (note the spaces)
- " deziron de \w+i " (note the spaces)

scorpjke:Also, here is the relevant PMEG page on this usage of I-words (without "de" ):tommjames:No, thank youscorpjke:I would correct it to "ĉu vi sentas deziron de manĝi vegetaran manĝaĵon hodiaŭ?". Particularly note the example "Mi ricevas grandan deziron edziĝi", which is very similar to the case in question.

scorpjke:I don't know what the rules say about thisNor do I offhand, but since "de" never appears in this type of phrase I would imagine if they say anything it would be don't use it.
You're welcome to speak strange Esperanto, but do yourself a favour and run Eldanar's query through Tekstaro first (to get even more hits you can put a ? immediately after the 'n' of 'deziron' ).
