Do words with doubled r's require a double trill in pronunciation?

For instance: superrigardo

I find a velar trill quite difficult at times and am hoping a single trill will be sufficient in such cases.

Thanks for your help!

Yes, they require a double trill. So superrigardo is pronounced like super'rigardo with 3 r's.

Thanks. dpmsf. Looks like I'm going to have to do some practising!

To find out how Esperantists cope with double consonants it might be instructive to ask them to pronounce fino (end) and finno (a Finn). You should be able to hear a difference. And that's the important point. Some may just prolong the double consonant, some may slightly pause in the middle, others may use another technique.

If you pronounce super-rigardo as though it was superigardo, this would probable not impede comprehension. But in careful speech you should be able to hear a difference, even though in this specific case the risk of being misunderstood in careless enunciation is low.
