For instance: superrigardo
I find a velar trill quite difficult at times and am hoping a single trill will be sufficient in such cases.
Thanks for your help!

dpmsf:Yes, they require a double trill. So superrigardo is pronounced like super'rigardo with 3 r's.Thanks. dpmsf. Looks like I'm going to have to do some practising!

If you pronounce super-rigardo as though it was superigardo, this would probable not impede comprehension. But in careful speech you should be able to hear a difference, even though in this specific case the risk of being misunderstood in careless enunciation is low.

su.per.i.gad.o vs su.per.ri.ga.do
One should be able to hear the /r/ at the end of [per] and the beginning of [rig].
But my Linguistics classes may be making me overly sensitive to this kind of thing.
