is coming out on October 4 in US. One of the two production companies associated with the film is called "Esperanto Filmoj". Director Alfonso Cuaron is an Esperanto enthusiast.

Wouldn't it be wild if, when the film is released onto DVD/Blu-ray, there's a dubbed soundtrack in Esperanto? At the very least, I'm assuming there will be Esperanto subtitles.

Mike:Director Alfonso Cuaron is an Esperanto enthusiast.
By "enthusiast" do you mean he speaks Esperanto (meaning he'd be an Esperanto "speaker" ), or does that mean he likes it but doesn't speak it?

How enthusiastic do I have to be to be considered an Esperanto enthusiast? Am I an English enthusiast?

It's enough for me. I'm excited!

I would put the chances at roughly zero that there's an Esperanto track of the movie. The word "Esperanto" gets used frequently as a sort of synonym for internationalism, not because the thing in question actually has any link to Esperanto.

I wouldn't bother getting excited over this. You can look at Esperanto Films' wikipedia page to learn why this was chosen as a name.
