There is a word adekvata. Definition 2 in PIV is ĝuste konforma al la cirkonstancoj. (Wells gives appropriate and adequate as the translation of adekvata.)
So maybe adekvatos.
PIV warns against its use in the sense of sufiĉa. (Judging from the usage in the Tekstaro, I am not sure this warning has been entirely heeded.)
Perhaps someone who uses this root frequently could elaborate on PIV's warning supplying an illustrative sentence.
EDIT: can there be degrees of adekvata (eg iom adekvata)

sudanglo:Without knowing the context, JK, - bravaj nomoj, tiuj sufiĉe taŭgos.Adekvatos, I think, will do well. I continue to learn from you. Many thanks, Sudanglo.

mind you that I only have basic proficiency with Esperanto itself, I'd venture to assume that sufiĉa deals much more with the amount of something, and adekvata is like saying... you are fast/tall/stong enough.
just my perspective.
