kaŝperanto:There are laws about restrooms? Seriously, are there countries that have legal documents concerning the legal usage of biological necessity installations?Clarence666:> he still doesn't belong in the women's restroom!Because the law about restrooms and gender legally has nothing to do with sexuality.
Why ? | Kial ?
I can see some sense in a law that establishes, that e.g. restaurants must have one [1] or several restrooms; but I fail to see any necessity or benefit from specifying who is admitted into a restroom and who not.

[1] For exapmle in Belgium it is quite common in pubs (or it was in the 90s) to have only one restroom. You entered, there you passed the "urinal trough" and after that there were several stalls. Unisex toilets like in Ally McBeal. Just more Belgian. There was never a discussion about who had to use which restroom.

If we are out hiking in the woods, there is not one tree that is marked women and one men. People just "do it" behind whichever tree is free. The Romans used to have open public toilets and people sat and shat next to each other. I guess, when in Rome....

nornen:As long as we are concerned about who has to use which restroom, we don't have to fear a "one world government".I think a world government is being largely advocated here, not feared. Much to my surprise.
robbkvasnak:The whole discussion is a silly social construct. So are clothings, at least in the warmer latitudes.

Sexism is objectionable, however, the term "nationalism" is far too broad refers to a variety of political stand points that have little to do with one another, and which vary a lot in their outcomes.
Not really sure how the LGBTT issue is relevant to the original topic but there you go.
Contrary to stereotypes, there are plenty of gay Christians, and there is a church in this city specifically set up by gays.
