Po unu fojo en la semajno, unu fojon ĉiusemajne are more explicit.
Then what about "two times in two weeks"? Is that "po du fojoj en du semajnoj"? Thank you.

P.S.: Shorter for sportkuri is ĵogi.
Kial uzi sennecesan neologismon ?
Do you decide which neologism is useful and which not?

Yes, or shorter du fojojn or dufoje.

sudanglo:To go running is not just to run, but to go for a run, for exercise or training.

Mi sportkuras; Mi faras kuradon; Mi ekzercas min kurante.
Is there a difference in meaning between Mi faras kuradon and Mi kuradas?
I suppose Richard, that in context even 'kuras' would be adequate, if the context makes it clear that for the rest of the time you are not a total couch potato, not even running to catch a bus. I was casting around for an expression as close as possible to the idea of going for a run. (Perhaps there is a better verb than fari)

'Kuradi' carries the idea of repetition or duration. Maybe I was being pernickety in not using kuradi for 'to go running'. I was thinking that kurado is more often (but not always) a single event.

I would say, for example,

Unu vesperon en la semajno mi laboris kiel kelnero en trinkejo kaj devis kuradi tien kaj reen alportante bierojn.

But,

La komitato organizis kuradon tra la stratoj de la urbo por festi la novjaron.

That's helpful - thank you.

Surely a kunmetaĵo like sportkuri is more in line with the Esperanto ideal of simplicity. Neologisms increase the vocabulary learning burden, and hence defeat the whole point of having agglutination and a rich affix system - namely, to keep the number of roots low. Most neologisms are best limited to technical lexicon, and perhaps poetry.

I've never seen ĵogi used before and would not readily understand it.
