This is really funny, or maybe it is just sad and pathetic.

I was checking out some Esperanto books. I think this is what some people are doing:

Step 1: Find a public domain book
Step 2: Use Google translate to translate the book to Esperanto
Step 3: Publish the book using Amazon's self publishing
Step 4: Sit on your butt and wait for all the Esperantists to buy the book.

Check out this review:
This is one of those fake novels machine-translated! >:| It's glaringly obvious with the incorrect punctuation, switches between gx and ' style, and the occasional English word thrown in there. When you actually start to read it, it makes no sense.

Here's an excerpt, errors and all:
"Kelkaj jxonglado-de-mane lertaĵo aŭ alia, 'diris la Medicina Viro, andFilby provis diri al ni pri magiisto li vidis ĉe Burslem; butbefore li finis sian prefaco la Tempo Vojaĝanto revenis, andFilby la anekdoto disfalis."

I have seen a lot of reviews like these on other books also. Amazon has a "look inside" feature that allows you to see a sample of the book.

Holy cow. The detail of the first Chapter (roman numeral I) being translated as "Mi" is hilarious.

The biggest tip-off is that the title uses the accusative.

This review on Amazon is thrillingly funny:
I really enjoyed reading this book even if it appears a draft and not a final copy. Some errors and inconsistencies noted in translation but overall a good read.
Someone needs to up their Esperanto skills.

The title should read:

The Time Machine in machine translation

OMG, I never noticed that until you pointed it out. What would the translation be for "III"? Maybe it would be "Mimimi"
