I'll try to take a look at the B test again in the coming days and let you know. Is there a way to PM or email you what I find, so I don't post exam questions/answers in the forum?

You can copy and paste it and PM me, or else e-mail me at erinja@lernu.net. I'd be happy to discuss it with you!

I passed A a long time ago. I've tried B a few times and I've gotten 45 or 46. But I always seem to make two mistakes in the same section and you don't pass if you do that.

erinja:People need to pass the C level to become a tutor at lernu, so if you are an experienced Esperantist who wants to become a tutor, all you need to do is take the C exam, you can skip A and B because they are not relevant to your requirement for becoming a tutor.
That makes sense.

This thread inspired me to finally take the A exam, I got 49/50 so passed. I doubt I'm ready for B, maybe at the end of the year ridulo.gif

I've been studying Esperanto diligently for just over a week now (halfway the third quarter on the Duolingo tree now), and this thread inspired me to take the A exam just to get a sense of where I'm at and where I need to work on. I fully expected to fail horribly, but to my surprise it was much easier than I thought! I only barely failed with a 43/50 score, and had only one section with two wrong answers. Now I really regret I didn't take the test tomorrow and did some dedicated study until then, which I considered but decided against.

Maybe I'll also do the B exam today, because the A exam, while moderately helpful in pointing out a few problem areas in the basics, did not really help me find my bearings the way I expected it to.
