I watched Pasporto al la tuta Mondo but it is very old and dated. Are there any future projects to make something, which is more modern?

I think this type of things is a great learning tool.

It's from 2003. It's not that old! The language they teach has not changed since then.

If Pasporto were made again today, on the same budget, I expect it would look much the same, other than updating the clothing of a few characters. It is cheesy and exaggerated for a reason, it's not meant to be a high class drama.

My husband goes around the house quoting it all the time ("Mi svenas! Mi mortas!), he has watched it at least twice all the way through.

I know it's meant to be internationalist, but when their daughter comes in and turns out to be a Japanese judge, I stopped believing they were a real family...

Plenty of adoptions in the world for those people to be a real family.

I like how they have a wide range of accents.

I thought perhaps they had a Japanese window cleaner?

We can only hope the next version's creators will forget about the word 'frauxlino' for good.

I thought she was a judge from Hong Kong, where they have wigs. ridulo.gif
