However I'm already at a bit of an obstacle, namely how to translate the word leftism, none of the dictionaries I have recognise it. So far I've come up with Maldekstraismo is that workable or is something else needed? This is kind of a problem since politics has a nasty habit of multiplying ism's and I'll need to translate dozens more in order to get it to work.

Vestitor:I would say that syndicalism and social democrats falls under the term socialism, and that anarchi can be on the right as well as the left. So I see the terms almost identical, but maldekstrismo is also a good word I guess.jagr2808:socialismo?It wouldn't include other things under an umbrella term like: anarchism, syndicalism, social democrat etc, all in one term.

Ĉi mi estas Is not wrong, but ĉi tie mi estas is more used I believe.

They seem to me to be not about power reduction from wherever it emanates, but just obsessed with abolishing governments. So often useful idiots for big business.
