@ OP: I apologise for derailing the thread.
Sometimes you run into trouble if you try to just translate the English sentence word by word. You don`t need to have the same subject as in the English sentence: Fragoj kaŭzas al ŝi alergion. (`al` is not always motion, in many cases it shows the receiver of an action / dative case)
