I wanted to say the following in Esperanto but I then realised I wasn't sure of how to say it:
"Martin is working"
Now, I came up with the following options:
1. "Martin estas laboras"
2. "Martin estas laborado"
3. "Martin estas laboradas"
I think the second would be wrong, would that mean "Martin is [a working]"?
But I'm not sure about 1 and 3. Can two verbs occur after each other like this?
Can anyone clear this up for me?
Kind regards,
Martin Rue.

Here, one should write only in Esperanto, or should at least translate what one has written into Esperanto. To get help in any other language, please put up your question at the appropriate national-language forum.

Por esprimi 'Martin is working.', nur 'Martin laboras.' estas bona.
Se gravas, ke oni esprimu la fakton ke la ago daŭras nuntempe, oni rajtas diri 'Martin estas laboranta.'. Sed ĉi-formo ne uziĝas tre ofte.
Here's an answer to your question:
To express 'Martin is working.', just 'Martin laboras.' is fine.
If it's important to express the fact that the action is going on presently, one may say 'Martin estas laboranta.'. But this form isn't used very often.

Mi konfuzis pri "laborant[a]". Ĝi estas ago tiel mi pensis ke ĝi havus la sufikso "as/is/os".
Dankon por vian helpon.

You are able to have two verbs together. "are able to have", for example. I think that it is always "-i" for the second. The imperative.

No, the -i shows the infinitive.
