First time attempting to build a "complex" sentence.lango.gif As in, more than "Mi estas...", etc from Bildoj kaj Demandoj.
"Dankon. Mi ŝatas paroli per telefono kun vin ankaŭ."

I'm not sure if I used the words correctly?
It's supposed to say
"Thanks. I also like to talk on the phone with you."
I was tempted to turn telefono into a verb to make it simpler but the definition seemed to only mean "to call" not "to talk using a phone".

Your only error was that you used the accusative -n after a preposition. It should be

Mi ŝatas paroli per telefono kun vi, ankaŭ.

There are, of course, other ways to say it (you could turn "per telefono" into "telefone"), but, except for the accusative, you've got it.

I would say that "telefoni" means "to talk on the telephone" as well as "to call", but you could also always use "telefonumi" (translating roughly as "to do the 'telephone thing'"). But I personally feel that "telefoni" works fine.

I agree with RiotNrrd.

per telefono is good and specific. Telefone makes sense too, but for some learners it might be a little bit ambiguous (e.g. they might see it and go 'telephonically??' before it sinks in), but nonetheless less they are both equally qualified and make perfect sense (minus the accusative 'n').

Be careful where you place ankaŭ because it affects the meaning.

Ankaŭ mi ŝatas paroli per telefono kun vi. "I too like to talk to you on the telephone." (apart from your other friends)

Mi ankaŭ ŝatas paroli per telefono kun vi. "I also like to talk to you on the telephone." (It's not just an irksome duty).

Mi ŝatas ankaŭ paroli per telefono kun vi. "I like (in addition) talking to you on the telephone." (as well as writing)

Mi ŝatas paroli ankaŭ per telefono kun vi. "I like talking to you on the telephone as well." (Not just face to face).

Mi ŝatas paroli per telefono ankaŭ kun vi. "I like to talk on the telephone to you as well." (Apart from my other friends).

Mi ŝatas paroli per telefono kun vi ankaŭ. Wrong. Bad luck!
