How to read x and shi in Esperanto?

For example in some hanzi we have to read 'x'(such as '习') in names but how to read it and how to translate them into Esperanto?
And in some japanese name we should read shi(し),but how to read it when it has been translated into Esperanto?just read ŝi or shi?

Mi certas, ke ekzistas bonaj ĉinaj kaj japanaj vortaroj. Se vi ne trovas tradukon, tiam skribu la vorton kiel la originalo. Se vi nepre volas traduki mem, tiam mi rekomendas traduki laŭ la prononco.

Kiam temas pri latinidaj literoj, kiuj ne ekzistas en Esperanto, ni jam havas manieron elparoli tiujn.

  • y: ipsilono (kelkfoje en matematiko "ipso")
  • ä: umlaŭta a
  • ktp.
Kiam temas pri ne-latinidaj literoj kaj signoj, oni kutime fonetike transskribas ilin. Ekz. la signon し oni verŝajne transskribas per "ŝi".
