Oŝo-Jabe:I noticed only two small mistakes, in the video you typed 'Lernu via numerojn' not 'Lernu viajn numerojn', and in the video description you put 'Lernu via bazaj numbroj. Iru a en.lernu.net' when you probably meant 'Lernu viajn bazajn numbrojn. Iru al en.lernu.net'.

I really enjoyed the video though, I thought it was a clever use of the picture-editing software!
I knew I screwed up in there somewhere lango.gif
Oh well.

And the skit talked about in the first post, that will happen soonish. I have to memorize the lines and motivate my sister to actually hold the camera...

Have you guys seen this site? It's been around for a while. You can find lots of esperanto short films here.

thank you for the link, looks like a good site.

But I honestly believe the more forms of media there are for esperanto, the more the culture of esperanto will expand, do you see what I am saying?

Hey, Alex.... Remember that it Esperanto, it's 'numeroj', not 'numbroj'.

Very good lesson! TRE bona leciono!

If I may make a suggestion about the "r" though (I used to use this method with my Spanish students): If you say the word "ladder" as you would in a free-flowing conversation, the "dd" seems to lose the very strong "d" sound and change to a softer "tap" kind of sound.....it's this softer "tap" kind of sound that the "r" has in Esperanto.
You could also roll the R as you would in Russian (the alveolar trill), this IMHO sounds more neutral than the tapped R of Spanish (sorry orthohawk lango.gif)
Sorry to resurrect a comatose thread!
I chose the "tap" sound because English speakers already use it in our own language as opposed to the trill (not as a phoneme of course, and as a caveat, I did know a guy once who said "ladder" and other such words with the "d" sound, and "butter" with the "t" sound. It did sound strange at first but we all got used to the Pete-ism ridulo.gif ) And less "neutral" than the trill or not, I'd much rather hear a Spanish "r" than the gawd-awful English/American "r" in spoken Esperanto!
