Senlando:Please look over there:um..... !!!!!!!!!!!!!. I never wrote that! I did attempt to write a post here, but i never wrote that, and i never even looked up Citrullus on Wikipedia until just now, when i saw that link under my name (which i never wrote). Dose anyone know what might have happened to my post? I'm thinking perhaps an administrator tried to responded to my forum post, but mistakenly changed what i wrote??

anyways I'm just really confused and would love to know what might have happened so i know I'm not going crazy. lol.

I have no idea what happened, but it might be that an administrator accidentally edited when they meant to reply. I haven't seen this before. What did your original message say?

erinja:I thought that probably was what happened, i can't really remember what i wrote, it was something to do with wondering if citrolo was the name of the "melon family" in esperanto, and if so, why not call it akvocitrolo, instead of akvomelono. But then i looked melon up in the vortaro, dictionary and saw melono as a word by itself. so I'm just wondering if citrolo and melono are both words to describe the melon plant family or weither they have different meanings.Senlando:HiSenlando:Please look over there:um..... !!!!!!!!!!!!!. SuperMarc92:Here, in Quebec, we say "melon d'eau", which means watermelon. And we speak french. In France we can also say « melon d'eau » (literally « melono de akvo ») or we can use the word « pastèque ». The original poster probably did not speak French natively, since he wrote *mélon* with an acute accent which is incorrect.

Happily, if that's what happened here, at least I can say it wasn't me!

Only now I’ve realized my great silly mistake!
I only can say to you, Senlando, thousands of sorries…
Surely I mistaked “Reply” for “Edit”.
In future I’ll look sharper!

But one idea might be to simply change the color of the [edit] link to red, to make it stand out a bit more (and also to indicate that that link is a bit more dangerous than [reply]). That strikes me as something that should be relatively easy to implement.

Espi:Haha, it's quite alright, I can see how that could easily have happen. I was mostly just surprise to see my picture and name saying something i had no memory of saying, gets me thinking I might be losing my mind! lol.Senlando:um..... !!!!!!!!!!!!!. I never wrote that!
